View the performance Proximus Play

A Proxy for a Thousand Eyes was a one day performance at the Sydney Opera House on November 29, 2020. The performance took place with five cameras, one cleaner, a bell ringer and fifty participants. A creative response to social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic, the performance invited physical touch from 50 participants at a time when the human body and stranger intimacy were considered most risky.
